[WARNING: this is sold AS-IS]
It can be setup as either single or multiple choice voting type.
It allows a user to vote only once.
It is possible to set it up so that a user can later change his/her vote.
There can be multiple voting stations associated with one poll.
The voters can also go to the website to leave comments and to vote.
All the votes/comments are stored externally and are not affected by sim crashes.
The object is M+C and it contains three scripts:
-rcdsComm(C+T)used to communicate with my server. it is possible to create your own scripts that communicate with this.
-rcdsVoteHandler(C) handles user clicking on different options and than sends user vote to the site using rcdsComm.
-rcdsVoteDriver(M+C) initializes rcdsComm .
In order to use this you need to be a member on my site and to create a blog post on my site. Than you modify rcdsVoteDriver.
There is also a daily subscription fee.
p.s.
I had to add PassXToken and the MembershipToken to this and make it a package since for some reason MP doesn't allow me to give them away for free here.

I bought this item today (19 May 2014) for L$64.

The package comes with three objects inside - 'rcdsBlogVote' which I had to guess was the actual polling station, 'MembershipToken' and 'PassXToken'.

I can only guess what the last two objects functions are, as when you rezz them you get wither a green orb or a red cube. One asks you to click it to register, and then when you do nothing happens. The other simply returns an error when clicked and even asks what grid you are on??

As for the polling booth itself, when rezzed it's hover text says 'initializing' and nothing you do seems to change this - even after a few minutes. Plus, from what I can tell, you are limited to four possible options for voting.

This may well be a very good system - however it's impossible to tell as I cannot get it going with the items I have received. A simple notecard would go a long way to explaining the relationships between the objects and how you can get the system to work. Not everyone is a scripter, y'know! :P
