Speed dating events in Second Life have several advantages. They provide a fun and engaging way to meet new people and make friends. The “RLV Speed Dating System” ensures that the event runs smoothly and efficiently, allowing participants to focus on getting to know each other.

The “RLV Speed Dating System” is a new and revolutionary system designed for Second Life. It is a time-saving and easy-to-use system that can be used to create speed dating events in any club or event.

>>> This package includes the following components:

a. Speed Date Rezzer: It is a system in a box that comes preloaded with tables, chairs, drinks, and the System Mover.

b. RLV Mover Standalone: This component is useful when the owner prefers to use their own furniture.

c. Pictures of “AI Speed Dating”: These pictures can be used for decoration.

d. Manual: This component provides instructions on how to use the system.

>>>> The “RLV Speed Dating System” works as follows:

A. All participants must use a viewer that supports RLV, such as Firestorm.

B. RLV must be enabled. On the Firestorm viewer, go to the Firestorm Tab > Extra Tab > Check “Allow Remote Scripted Viewer Controls (RLVa)”.

C. Half of the participants (in an event of men and women, for this example all men) must touch the RLV Mover, get the RLV Crown, and add it.

D. Each one of the participants must be seated (for this example, one man and one woman at each table).

E. The event starts when the owner or one of the staff touches the RLV mover and clicks on “START”.

F. A countdown timer is shown on top of the RLV Mover. When the timer reaches zero, those participants who wear the crown will be moved to a different seat automatically.

G. The event ends when the owner or one of the staff touches the RLV mover and clicks on “STOP” or when less than 2 participants with crown are seated.

>>>> Setup an event with owner furniture.

A. Make sure you have enough available seats for the number of participants.

B. The furniture can be any object such as couches, tables with chairs, sofas, beds, or anything that comes to mind.

C. Rez a copy of the RLV Move

>>>> Set up an event with the Speed Date Event Rezzer, which can accommodate up to 18 participants, by following these steps:

A. Rez the Speed Date Event Rezzer, which is the table with two seats.

B. The owner must stand and click on the table.

C. Use the menu to select the number of additional tables to rez (Table+/Table-).

D. Click on Rez Tables and Rez System.

E. At the end of the event, the owner should stand and click on the table to open the menu. Then, select ‘Del Tables & Del System’ from the menu.

>>>> Configure the RLV Mover by following these steps:

A. Time: Set the duration (in minutes) of each round. Enter 0 to disable the automatic mover and enable only the manual seat mover.

B. Method: Choose the method of moving the participants, either randomly or sequentially.

C. Access: Select who is allowed to change settings: Owner only, Group members and owner, or Everyone.

D. Start/Stop: Start or stop the event.

E. When the event is on, click on the menu and select ‘Swap Now’ to move the participants.

>>>> IMPORTANT: If you want to set another event in the same parcel simultaneously, follow these steps:

A. Follow the previous steps.

B. Rename the object within the RLV mover as follows: Right-click on the RLV Mover > Content tab > Right-click on the object called Crown > Rename it to, for example, Crown Zone B on other instances of the RLV Mover.
