1 May 2015 - script maintenance.

⤷ Good day! ⤶

This is an example script for the Corrade bot which performs the following actions:

● It checks whether Corrade is online.
● If Corrade is not online, the script sleeps.
● If Corrade is online, then the script teleports the bot.
● Once the bot has teleported, the script issues a sit command to Corrade.
● When Corrade sits on the poseball, the sample animation is trigged and Corrade starts dancing.
● The script periodically checks whether Corrade is sitting or has gone offline.

The script is created by Wizardry and Steamworks as an example script for creating a modelling bot using Corrade. You are free to use this script with Corrade on any grid provided you abide by the GNU/GPLv3 license (https://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html).

For more information on the Corrade bot and how to get it to run, please see the documentation at:

http://grimore.org/secondlife/scripted_agents/corrade

which also includes Corrade's API.

It wasn't hard, and right now as I stand here writing this my new Corrade is dancing around happily in front of me.

I've got both Smartbot and Pikku, what has made this one the go-to of choice is that it's open source, is that it is powerful, and is that it is comprehensive. Yes, you might need a little more skill at installing the program from the Corrade website than just paying $500 a week for xyz-bot but once you do install it, you have a free bot, and it's easily the best one around if you hope to script.
