Walk and run variable speed controller - headband version

This controller can be used if you wish to move at other than the default SecondLife walk and run speeds. As supplied inside a headband It can be worn on the head, or alternatively the script removed and placed into any item you can click on.

A selection of speeds with the approximate percentage change ranging from 20% slower than a normal walk up to 30% faster than the normal run are offered along with an Off button to turn the controller off and return control to the normal SL system.

The controller does not include walk or run animations and it assumes these are provided by your standard AO.

Please note that although this overrider works in many places, the limitations of LSL script commands means it cannot be foolproof and so we suggest that you tick Always Run in the World Toolbar so that if you hit a problem clicking the controller and setting it to Off will get you out of any situation. Specifically we have found that for climbing steep mountains you are often better off with the controller turned off.

Also note that the controller slows you down if you take a blow from a weapon as this is intended as a defensive rather than offensive aid.
