What can I say about this build. With a Bell that rings, and lessons already on the chalkboard, all this building needs is you and some eager young minds just ready to learn.
The building is based on the School House that was used in the "Little House on the Prairie" series, and from RL pictures of School Houses from that era.
It is 83 prims total with the Fireplace, and it is Copy/Mod, so you can change whatever you like. It will fit on a 1056 or larger plot. There are animations imbedded in all of the furnishings, and the textures on the chalk board change and more can be added.
The curtains for the Windows can be opened and closed, and the curtain over the front Chalkboard opens and closes or disapears as well...for those surprise exams.
There is a book giver imbedded in the stage, just click it and it will give you a small book to wear, and there is a chalk giver embedded in the frame of the chalkboard. Simply click the frame and it will give you the chalk.
To animate your avatar while you're writing on the chalkboard click the wall above the chalkboards and then sit, and you will be a chalkboard writing fool!
The Fire in the fire place can be turned on and off simply by typing in open chat

And the crackling sound can be activated or deactivated by left clicking on the logs. The smoke in the chimney is permanent.
The bell on the outside will ring if you click it. Click to sound, click to turn sound off.
The Rope has a bell ring animation in it. Simply right click the bottom of the rope and select sit.

The Desks have animations imbedded as well. one avatar can click the actual bench and select sit, another will click the desk on that bench and select sit to sit on the other side of the bench.
The backs of the benches will give out writing utensils so you'll be sure to get an "A" on the next exam.
The stool is for the corner. You're very own Dunce chair with a sit animation in the seat. Right click the seat and select sit, to server your sentance.
The Podieum has a read from animation on the book holder at the very top, (click the stage to receive a book you can wear) and the base of the Podieum has a lecture animation. Simply right click and select Sit.
