The eye symbolizes the truth which is burning away the web of lies and harms therefore the spider (liar) itself. A symbol for an unstable ground which excuses and lies are "building" in any kind of relationship. The drop of blood on the spider's web which is (for now) holding it shows how much this creature is harming itself with it's conniving nature.
