Here's how:
Simply rezz the [Whoops!] - Placemate on a table (e.g.) and touch it.
A menu will appear and you can choose between Meal (rezzing a meal), Placemate (changing it's texture) or Napkin (changing its color).

The placemate (3 LI*) comes with 11 preinstalled meals and 16 texture patterns. It's partial Mesh and Sculpty:

Each rezzed meal gives you the possibility to change the plates color (to match the napkin) and delete it via touch; the meals listen to the same script channels, that means: If you press the delete button, every meal will be deleted!

You also get a Meal-Decor-Set with 8 decors (to change the plates color simply touch the object):
