Thank you for looking at / buying this product.

This build is made up of 2 parts each having two prims and are soft linked. 1 prim is sculpted. If you are not sure how to rez things that are soft linked, help is below. (*1)

Remember, if it all goes horribly wrong, don't worry, the item is copy so the original will be safe and sound in your inventory, however, I suggest very strongly that you make a copy of the item and move it to a folder that is out of the way and use that as your backup. The original boxed item will also remain in your inventory (unless SL eats it for which I can't be held responsible, but I will help if you lose it. In such a case just IM me)*

Once you have rezzed and positioned the Wind Chime click the two component parts in turn to start the swing action and sound.

Stats of this build:

Copy - Yes Modify - No Transfer - No

0.2m x 0.2m with a height of 0.5m at widest/highest points **

Component parts:

1 x Bell section with pivot 2 prims
1 x Streamer with pivot 2 prims (Flexi)
Total prims = 4

The Japanese translates to (or so I'm told):

Painful is the love
that remains unknown to the beloved
like the star lily that has bloomed
in the thick foliage
of the summer field

Have fun,

*1 Instructions and advice about rezzing soft linked items:

Soft linked - that is where a build contains several unlinked parts, each containing linked prims, and as such, once you rez them, you should keep them in edit until you have them placed correctly.

An easy way to do this is to find something around you, right click it and select Edit from the menu. Then left click the ground (true SL ground, not carpets or prim based floors) or sky, leaving the Edit window on your screen but with no item details in it. Now, drag and drop the Wind Chime from your inventory. It will rez with the edit arrows already around it and holding all of the unlinked parts together. Use the arrow keys to move the build to the place you want it and should you wish to twist it around, do so by using the appropriate Rotate tool.

Once you are satisfied with the placement you can close the Edit window.

If you feel lost and unable to cope with all of the above, don't worry, we all need help now and then. IM me and if I'm around, or the next time we are online together, I'll come over and help you fix it.

Have fun and enjoy Second Life, that's the most important thing.

the absolutely positively bestest wind chime ever!

OK so I purchased this originally in 2014. I approached seller at that time asking for fewer than 4 prims. Gracious seller was very kind to produce a 2 prim version. To self: What was I thinking?! In 2014 only 4 prims was great! Anywho, I rated it 5 stars in 2014 (even without the 2 prim version). Today, I replace the old review with this update: Five-stars-plus three years additional gratitude mixed in. I have moved several times since original purchase. At every move, my "happy" includes having this chime scattered about. The 2 prim version lets me do so to my delight! Most realistic wind-reactive soothing-sound chime ever. It wouldn't be home without it. A must have!

few prims and soft linked (something new to me but simple once you know how) this tiny build is very effective and has a great tune, very zem temple orientated but nice for the back garden too
