This easy to use script will allow you to control the tint ( opacity ) of your windows through a menu system.
Drop the script into the window you wish to control. ( Make sure the window is set to modify permission )
Now when you touch that window, you will receive a menu allowing you to set how visible or invisible that window prim is.
This script can also control the opacity of other windows that are linked to the prim containing the script.
rename the additional prims you want the scrip to control to 'window', and your menu selection will change those also.
This script also allows you to set a custom tint value.
If, for example, you want to be able to set your windows to 75% opacity,
just enter the number '75' into the description field of the prim which contains the script.
The next time the menu is called, an additional button displaying your custom opacity setting will be added.
It is also possible to adjust the access level, so other people can call the menu to change the window tint.
As the owner, you are provided with a menu option named 'Settings'.
Selecting this option will allow you to select one of three possible options.
- Owner Only - ( the default value ) ensures that only you will receive the control menu.
- Group - This setting will provide the control menu to anyone who belongs to the same group as the prim which contains the script.
- Anyone - This will allow anyone to receive the control menu.
But no matter what access option is selected, only the owner has the ability to set the access level.
