Wingsong 7Seas Fishing Critter - Rubber Duck ADD Box

This is part of our large Wingsong 7Seas Collection. While it was designed specifically for our 7Seas Critter collection, it's a great stand alone item.

The Wingsong 7Seas Fishing Critter collection is comprised of our wearable animals that do double duty as a portable chairs as well as being embedded with a "Boat Mode." They are great to sit on when you fish whether on land or in the water. They can be used when you are NOT fishing as well!

In order to catch fish you MUST wear a bona fide (7S) Pro Fishing Rod. We provide two versions of each critter in each package, one that works with your animated rods and one that works with your NONanimated rods.

We also include a specially propositioned Wingsong 7Seas Fishing Critter Rod MultiTexture in each package, which is worn with the (7S) Invisible Pro Fishing Rod.

Your Wingsong 7Seas Fishing Critter - Rubber Duck is another fun companion for all your fishing excursions brought to you by people who ADORE rubber ducks. (Seriously - have you SEEN how many varieties of rubber ducks Wingsong makes???)

FEATURES and HOW TO USE

1 - Turn off or disable other AO's.

2 - ADD one of your (7S) Pro Fishing Rods. This can be either your regular (7S) Pro Fishing Rod OR one of your two (7S) Invisible Pro Fishing Rods).

3 - ADD your Wingsong 7Seas Fishing Critter. Adjust as necessary. Use the Animated version if you want your avatar's casting animation enabled. Use the NONanimated version if you don't want to enable your casting animation.

4 - Optionally, if you are wearing the (7S) Invisible Pro Fishing Rod you will probably want to wear a custom fishing rod. There are many excellent ones available by various vendors, as well as the Wingsong Dojo. For your convenience, we're including a FREE one with this package. You MAY have to adjust it slightly using your Edit Tool depending on the size of your avatar.

5 - Your Wingsong 7Seas Fishing Critter floats on all natural linden water. It will not float on artificial (manmade) water.

6 - Your critter is embedded with a simple but realistic animation system. Depending on which of the two critters included in this package you use, you will either cast your rod using the (7S) onboard animation along with the Wingsong animation OR relax comfortably without casting.

That's right - we got animations from two different builders to shake hands! This was NO simple trick to pull off!

A couple of small steps you may have to take to get the best effect: (A) It's possible that as you are sitting idly in your boat your rod will drop down and go through the hull of the boat. This is easily remedied by adjusting your rod using your EDIT tool. (B) When using the Animated version of your critter your right arm will probably flail about a bit you first move over the water until you throw your first cast (type /1 cast in the local chat window). From there on all is calm.

7 - Touch your duck's orange bill to toggle a gentle sea surf audio on and off.

8 - He's ANIMATED. His eyes shift around a bit and they blink/wink.

9 - Your duck quacks a couple different ways. Touch his head for a menu of 3 authentic duck quacks. He'll also play these sounds randomly every 5 to 7 minutes. You can toggle this feature on and off by touching your duck's body.

10 - Touch the shaft of your fishing rod for a menu with 22 different textures. This is like having 22 fishing rods in one!

Now - what I was saying before about you being able to fish even when you weren't in a 7Seas fishing area. Here's a little trick. If you have the (7S) Fishing Area Kit (also available in the (7S) Gear Vendor), you'll have a (7S) Fish Server Crate. These have COPY perms, and they are designed to be REZZED at your land where you set up your fishing area. However - you can also ADD one and anywhere you go becomes a portable fishing area!
