There are some really excellent guitar HUDs available on the grid. Many of them are geared toward rock, metal, and other kinesthetically energized styles of playing.
The Wingsong Animation HUD - Guitar gives you 22 guitar playing animations that are mellow, aimed more at folk music, ballads, or soft rock. Additionally, it is not designed for the performer, but rather for the casual player.
This HUD is compatible with most guitars on the market, and fills the gap created by the focus on other styles of playing. It is a great stand alone HUD for the more mellow player as well as an excellent addition to the serious player who collects guitar animations.

FEATURES and HOW TO USE
1 - Turn off other AO's. ADD your Wingsong Animation HUD - Guitar from your inventory. Add a guitar of your choice.
2 - Your HUD appears toward the top right hand corner of your screen in the form of two small, semi transparent guitars. Click on each one for a menu of 11 animations. Your avatar will continue being animated by that animation until you select another one or STOP.
3 - The animations are high quality authentic, original Wingsong animations. These are not poses but are rather full functioning, realistic animations. You get FOUR for sitting on chairs, SEVEN for sitting on the ground, SEVEN for standing, ONE kneeling, one walking, and a stand and sit that have you holding the dulcitar. The strums vary from slow to fast, and on some of them your fret fingers are open, and some closed. While these animations fit all sizes of adult humanoid avatars, some of them will be better suited for tall or medium. So you get alot of variety in this collection!
BONUSES
1 - We're including two FREE Wingsong Classical Guitars - Black UnScripted. Although the guitar is fully COPY/MOD, these are conveniently prepositioned and sized to fit medium and tall avatars, which accounts for the majority of adult sized avatars.
2 - We're also including a FREE Wingsong Straight Chair NonAnimated 2 prims. This is one of my favorite chairs to use to play; in real life I use a very similar chair at my computer as well as to play my stringed instruments. It's very comfortable in ANY life, and especially suitable to strumming.

Not bad, good price
If you need acoustic guitar animations that don't run your guitar through your avatar, this is the hud you want. Some of the finger positions are a bit strange, but all in all you should find what you need here. The price is right, too.
