I've warned you about these before. And now - they are MULTIPLYING! It's the invasion of the Wingsong Evil Barrels! They are barrels. They are EVIL. Need I say more?
Some of them lurk in dark, damp places, glaring at you with their evil red eyeballs. Some of them are sitting out in broad daylight looking INNOCENT. Some of them are wearing clever disguises and don't even LOOK like barrels. But don't turn your back on them!
OK. Honestly, barrels seldom attack avatars unless they are provoked. Still. One can never be TOO careful around evil barrels.
Be proactive! Don't wait for those evil barrels to sneak up on you! Without the intervention of esteemed avatars such as yourself, the entire grid could be at risk of being overrun by wayward radioactive EVIL barrels dressed up like snowmen. You go get them first! Show these dastardly barrels who's boss!
And you know what they say. Sometimes you get the barrel. Sometimes the barrel gets you. Don't let your guard down. You start shooting them and they WILL fight back and you'll pick yourself up ten, twenty meters away! So be CAREFUL!
This snowman barrel has got real attitude. LOOK at him looking down his carrot nose at you! Don't let him get away with that!
The Wingsong Barrel Hunter - Snowman is part of our Wingsong Barrel Hunter series. Sure, it LOOKS like an innocent snowman, but by now you probably know that evil barrels are masters of disguise! This guy is NO Frosty!
One of our Mad Scientists here at the Wingsong Dojo HATES snowmen, though, and he slipped in what he calls an EXECUTIONER gun. So - with this ensemble, you get TWO guns. More about the differences between the two guns in a minute.
Here's what you get with your Wingsong Barrel Hunter - Snowman:
1 - Wingsong Barrel - Snowman. REZ (7 prims). Head and body glow when hit. Touch his head to toggle snow on and off. He's installed with a fun little collision script that will roll away when touched but return to her cage within about 10 seconds. Kind of dull, really. Unless you shoot it with your....
2 - Wingsong Gun - Snowman! WEAR (attaches to your right hand). You get two guns, based on our Wingsong Squirt Gun, so you'll often hear a little splashing water when you fire them. The EXECUTIONER version allows you to shoot fire at the snowman mercilessly, leaving him defenseless and vulnerable; he cannot retaliate unless he accidentally hits you as he's running amok. The COUNTERATTACK version - well, yeah, he's gonna aggressively smack you when he can and you might find yourself outside in the, er, COLD. All of our guns in the Wingsong Barrel Hunter series include COUNTERATTACK guns because we do think, even when dealing with evil barrels, prey should have a sporting chance.
Both of these guns were designed specifically for this barrel and will not harm avatars. They leave a faint trail of sparks and burst into flames when they shoot things. The bullets are embedded with little die engines so they won't leave clutter and trash behind.
3 - Wingsong Barrel Cage - Ice Block. REZ (1 prim). It moves up and down, teasing the barrel with the possibility of escape. HAHAHAHAHA! In a Stockhomian kind of twist, the snowman-looking barrel will try desperately to return to his cage if he does get out of it.
4 - Wingsong Firing Range - Snowman Ice Block. REZ (3 prims). Specially designed for this ensemble. Touch the roof/ceiling to toggle snow on and off. 15x9.5x15 megaprim - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RESIZE. Works best sitting on real ground.
5 - Two Sets of Knitted cap, scarf, gloves, high top shoes (one teal, one red) - cause it gets cold hunting down wayward EVIL barrels dressed like snowmen! The shoes are based on our Happy Feet series. You'll leave little trails of snow as you walk or run, which can be toggled on and off by touching the soles.
TO USE Your Wingsong Barrel Hunter ensemble: REZ out your barrel. WEAR or ADD your gun (attaches by default to your right hand). PRESS your M key on your keyboard for MOUSEVIEW. CLICK your mouse to FIRE. When finished, DETACH your gun and DELETE or TAKE your barrel.
