Meet Herman! One of the members of our large array of animated critters, the Wingsong Companion - Herman is alot of fun to hang out with. This guy is LOADED with personality and fun features that bring him to life.
FEATURES and HOW TO USE
1 - ADD your Wingsong Companion - Herman from your inventory; he goes everywhere you go.
2 - His legs, arms, hands, and shoes move as you walk and run together. VERY cool, fluid movements.
3 - His eyes blink/wink.
4 - Touch his main body to bring up a menu with 22 really fun sound clips. I warn you - he's fairly realistic in his sounds. That is to say, he cheers, laughs, screams, applauds, burps, farts, snores, sneezes, says hello a couple different ways, and impersonates a few folks.
5 - And he's a ventriloquist as well - he knows how to throw his voice! Of course, you gotta help him out. Touch Herman's head and a text box appears allowing you to literally put words in his mouth (though I must tell you, he has a way of exerting his own thoughts!). Click SUBMIT and his words go under his own name into the local chat box.
To rename him and have his new name come up in local chat open his head prim using the EDIT LINKED feature in your Edit Tool and change that prim's name from "Herman" to whatever name you like.
Then you can help him have a dialogue anywhere you go. For example, watch this.
[01:57] Kit: Ciaco: Good morning, Herman. Say! That's a good looking hat you're wearing!
[01:58] Herman: Oh, why, Thank you, Kit. Oh. Wait. Didn't you MAKE this hat?
[01:59] Kit Ciaco: Hehehehehehe. Yes. Yes, I did. And it IS a fine looking hat, and it looks very nice on you!
[01:59] Herman: Yes. It's is made of Belgian suede and...
[02:00] Kit Ciaco: Belgian suede?
[02:00] Herman: Yes. I just made that up. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
[02:02] Kit Ciaco: I see. Well, regardless what it's made of, it really looks great on you. Say! You sort of remind me of that guy who made Pinocchio!
[02:03] Herman: Geppetto? Yes, I get that alot.
[02:03] Kit Ciaco: Related?
[02:04] Herman: Yes - he made a puppet who wanted to be a real boy, and I'm a puppet made by an avatar who used to be a real woman. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
[02:04] Kit Ciaco: ---
[02:04] Herman: You're not laughing, Kit.
[02:04] Kit Ciaco: ---
[02:05] Herman: Well, I thought it was pretty funny.
[02:06] Kit Ciaco: Say, "Good bye, " Herman.
[02:06] Herman: Good bye!

Your Wingsong Companion - Herman is COPY/MOD, so make all the copies you want and recolor, redecorate, resize, retexture, reDO to make him fit YOUR specs! If you want to add something to him, say a hat or scarf, link your accessories FIRST and Herman LAST; he must remain the ROOT prim or his animations will get REALLY fussy.
