The Wingsong Dojo Bird ADD is a rideable attachment; it goes anywhere you go and it does not support passengers. We also make a very similar dojo bird companion that walks next to you.
We've all heard of the poorly fated dodo bird. But how many of us know about the dojo bird?
A distant cousin of the dodo, the Dojo Bird is just about as poorly designed for flight as the dodo, including its disproportionate wing span, oversized beak, roundish tail, and large egg-shaped girth. Plus, the dojo bird has an unfortunate appetite for raisins, which causes gastrointestinal distress. Some omithologists believe raisins have led to the nono bird's near extinction, but the scholars at the Wingsong Dojo discount this theory. Not that we have a better one....
At any rate, on one of our recent excursions to an island a few miles east of Madagascar we came across a small flock of dojo birds. We prefer to not capture animals in the wild, but several of them became quite friendly with us and seemed comfortable to returning to the mainland with us. And now we are able to share some of these fine fowl with you!
"Fine" may be a misnomer. These are not what one might say "polite" birds. They have a tendency to belch and, er, how to say delicately? Oh, there's really no delicate way to say it - they fart. But only on command.
I've always admired folks who could fart on command.
One of the great mysteries of the universe is how the dojo bird has become so nearly extinct. Many theories have been postulated. We at the Wingsong Dojo believe it is because they are lousy parents. Seriously. Your Wingsong Dojo Bird will lay however many eggs you want (you just touch its tail and out pops a pretty little pink egg). But the dojo bird IGNORES the egg, and within a minute it just evaporates back into the great void.
Not that the Wingsong Dojo Bird doesn't have SOME scruples. It will not, for example, lay eggs on property for which it does not have permission. And while it will make certain dojo bird sounds randomly, it won't be obnoxious unless you ASK it to be (You get a menu of a bunch of fun audio clips by clicking on its body). And you can even turn off the random sounds by touching its head.
So yeah - it CAN be well behaved. Or it can be a little naughty.
We admire that....
And your Wingsong Dojo Bird is well animated. Its wings flap and its legs move furiously when you walk or run. And its eyes rotate a little for added expressiveness.
So - let's recap HOW TO USE and FEATURES:
1 - Disable or remove other Animation Overrides. ADD your Wingsong Dojo Bird Companion. It goes everywhere you go.
2 - Click on its tail to make it drop an egg. The egg will vanish automatically within a minute or so.
3 - Click on its main body for a menu of fun audio sounds; you can add your own sounds by dragging them from your inventory.
4 - Click on its head to toggle intermittent, random audio on and off.
5 - Legs and wings flap when you walk and run with it. Eyes rotate a bit.
6 - Your Wingsong Dojo Bird ADD is embedded with original, high quality Wingsong animations to insure a realistic, comfortable ride.
BONUS
We enjoy this bird so much we decided to make a special REZ version as well. It is identical to your companion version except it does not lay eggs. But it'll sure flap about when you walk near it! Just REZ it out wherever you have land perms.
Your birds are COPY/MOD. Enjoy resizing, retexturing, recoloring, and making a whole FLOCK of them.
