These 2 wearable Wingsong Flute F Sharp Autoplays are embedded with sound clips from a Wingsong Native American style flute made by Kit Ciaco's rl counterpart. Travels anywhere you do!
Our regular Wingsong Flute F Sharp sold separately at the SL Marketplace allows you to play any note you want by clicking on spheres and cubes. Very cool. But sometimes you don't want to do the work. That's where we come in AGAIN. ADD 1 of your 2 Wingsong Flute F Sharp Autoplays. Your avi animates to play the flute with an original Wingsong animation, and your flute will play randomly. You will never hear the same sequence over and over again.
That's RIGHT - you get 2 flutes in this set. Nearly anyone who plays Native American style or other folk flutes knows that they are addictive. People who own only one flute are very rare. To help you begin your flute collection properly we're including 2 flutes!
One of your flutes is a 2 prim which has only the two sets of music clips as described below. It is fully functional and VERY pleasant to play.
As a serious real time Native American style flutist (or, if you want to get uppity about it, FLAUTIST!) I enjoy playing my "real" flutes outside with birds, insects, and the frogs that live in my frog pond. I built the Wingsong Flute F Sharp Autoplay with Nature Sounds in order that you, too, can play with nature.
To use, disable your AO. ADD either flute (attach by default to your left hand). Walk around or sit in non scripted furniture as you normally would.
The flute's body is embedded with a complete pentatonic scale including the bottom note at two octaves for a total of 6 notes. The totem (the block near your mouth) is embedded with a music engine and 9 short melody clips. Each prim is embedded with a script designed to play a sound clip from each of the two prims at 8 second intervals, allowing an unending haunting and beautiful melody. Each set of clips can be toggled on or off by clicking on the individual prims.
The Nature Sounds edition has three additional prims - a flexi feather under the totem and two rings, one at each end of the flute's body. The ring at the bottom of the flute plays a looped cricket song. The ring at the top of the flute near your mouth plays a looped frog chorus. The feather plays 10 random nature sounds (8 birds, some katydids, and a frog) at random intervals between 100 to 180 seconds apart for a very natural flow of sound.
Clicking on any prim will toggle the sounds on or off.
Sounds in the grid will sometimes take a few seconds to load initially. If your flute hasn't begun playing within 15 seconds click on its prims to begin playing. You will not experience interruption in sound after you begin playing unless you hit some serious lag while you're moving.
Because your flute is pentatonic you can play with others on their Wingsong Flute F Sharps - HOURS of fun! Pentatonic instruments do not clash with one another when played with other instruments in their own key. These flutes are VERDI tuned for a more cosmic alignment.
I like to play my flutes standing up. I also like playing them while I'm sitting down. I love playing near a crackling fire. I am including a few new logs and stumps as well as our very nice Wingsong Log V2 FREE in this set.
The Wingsong Log Large - Cricket plays a looped cricket sound. The Wingsong Log Small - Frog plays a looped, yes, FROG chorus. The Wingsong Tree Stump E - Ambient Nature plays 10 nature sounds (the same as the flute).
REZ out these logs and stumps. Click them to toggle the sound on or off. Sit on them; they are not embedded with animations additional animations;; you'll be able to continue playing your flute while you sit.
