The Wingsong Ghost Train is the haunted version of our Wingsong Locomotive.
Your ghost has a voice. And he uses it! He has 12 strips of linen on his shroud, and each one is embedded with a terrorizing (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) sound that plays when you touch it. A classic “BOOOO!” Some wailing and moaning, growling and howling. Two guy screams and two gal screams. Some perfunctory chain rattling. A couple of maniacal laughters.
Touch your ghost's hood and a text box appears allowing you to literally put words in his mouth (though I must tell you, this ghost has a way of exerting his own thoughts!). Click SUBMIT and his words go under his own name into the local chat window. Kind of like a ventriloquist, if you want to know the truth.
His shrouds are flexi and carefully designed to give your ghost a natural bit of random animation.
For a more realistic experience rename your ghost with a colon at the end. To change his name go into your EDIT tool and change his name in the GENERAL tab. For example:
Emerson:
When he "speaks" it'll look almost authentic in the local chat window. GREAT fun!
The Wingsong Ghost V3 is also a portable storm maker. Touch the large almost invisible ball on his shoulders to turn the rain drops and looped sound on and off. He also plays an intermittent distant thunder.
You can't have a haunted train without having an actual train. The Wingsong Haunted Locomotive is a WEARABLE vehicle. It goes everywhere you go, and it does not support passengers.
Here are the features of your Wingsong Ghost Train:
1 - When you drive you'll hear an engine. You can also hear the engine all the time by touching the roof of the train.
2 - Touch the little train sign on the rear to engage a menu with three different train sounds. You can add up to a total of 22 sounds by dragging sounds from your inventory to your CONTENT tab in your EDIT menu.
3 - Your Wingsong Ghost Train has a flotation device embedded in it to allow you to ride it as you would a boat.
4 - I don't know about you but I've always been especially fond of riding trains late at night. So naturally we had to install a headlight. To turn it on and off click on the space just in front of the headlight. It emits a really great realistic light beam.
5 - Touch the floorboard to hear your train whistle. Touch the back posts to hear a railroad crossing.
6 - Your locomotive has great smoke billows coming out of its chimney.
7 - Your Wingsong Ghost Train has an original Wingsong animation designed to animate you slightly to add to your riding enjoyment.
Speaking of which - to get the most out of your Wingsong Ghost Train, we're including a FREE Wingsong Navigation HUD ( must be unpacked separately). Be sure to read the info sheet in the navigation HUD's box to get the most benefit from it. It includes a speed control, altimeter, speedometer, and compass, and is compatible with virtually any wearable you have. It's very simple to use and is compatible with most attachments in your inventory. Because it has a cruise control and frees up your fingers it's GREAT for chatting with friends while traveling. I seldom leave home without mine!
Experiment with how you can best drive your Wingsong Ghost Train on the Linden tracks. One of our mad scientists here at the Wingsong Dojo has been driving this little train for several nights and she tells me it seems to stay on the tracks best if she rides with one of the tires outside the tracks; otherwise, she tells me, it sort of jerks around a bit.
Frankly, we've all been surprised it stays on the tracks at all, since it wasn't actually designed to ride like a normal train, being a WEARABLE instead of a REZ version. You'll have to steer a little but not as much as we expected. We also found going at a slow speed, about 2, gives more stable results.
You can also fly in your Wingsong Ghost Train, or drive up the road or across fields or over mountains, or float across the ocean - pretty much like you can go anywhere inworld.
We're also including FREE Wingsong Goggles and a FREE Wingsong Train Cap B.
To use your items, turn off other Animation Overrides you're wearing, find your item (the ghost, the train, goggles, train cap, and the navigation HUD) in your inventory and select ADD. Adjust as necessary using your EDIT tool. When finished DETACH, and your train chugs along through your entire inventory!
AND - everything is this package is COPY/MOD, so make all the copies you want and recolor, redecorate, resize, retexture, reDO to make it fit YOUR specs! I'm even throwing in a FREE Wingsong Modify Box, a simple, easy to use tutorial for folks with little experience in the EDIT tool.
