The Wingsong GoCart RIDE V3 is a REZ vehicle that supports a passenger. It has an excellent 6 gear speed system which begins relatively slowly and increases incrementally. This is a very easy car to handle, yet gives a decent speed for those who like to have their prim hair blowing in the wind. Although it's designed as a touring vehicle it also has a Turbo option for those who like to REALLY go fast.
A great many inworld vehicles are revved up so high by default as to make them difficult if not impossible to drive. This annoys me to no end. Our vehicles are generally set with 6 gears ranging from fairly slow up to 50-75 mps. Just like in real life, speed is related to manageability. Too much speed with increase your chances to get whipped by lag and to drop your vehicle or run into buildings or off high cliffs.
Using high end proprietary ACS/KCP scripts, you get a number of extraordinary options in this car.
FEATURES and HOW TO USE:
1 - REZ your car to the ground in an area where you have land permissions.
2 - This car is VERY easy to operate: After rezzing it out, RIGHT CLICK on the floor and select RIDE (You can right click some other areas but the tire is the easiest). Move using arrow keys for forward and turns. Shift up for greater speeds by clicking SHIFT key + right arrow key; shift down by clicking SHIFT + left arrow key. Reverse by pressing the Down Arrow key. Pop a wheelie by tapping the PAGE UP key. Passengers RIGHT CLICK the seat and select RIDE.
3 - Touch the car's wheels for an onboard menu of functions. Most of these are self explanatory. Some of the features are:
- transmission (manual or automatic)
- custom controls for setting your car to your own preferences for driving style (steering, gears and throttle speed, banking)
- onboard avatar adjustment (for driver as well as passenger)
- locking and unlocking to allow others to drive your gocart
- resizer
- horn
- flight mode
-turbo mode (This gocart is preset with relatively low speeds but with a click of a button you are automatically in TURBO or RACING mode.)
- HUD distributed through menu (includes many items from the menu as well as a speedometer; VERY easy to use)
- Driver's Manual HELP distributed through menu
- realistic audio system
- alarm system (sounds when anyone else attempts to ride locked bike; the alarm can be manually turned off by owner and it will turn off automatically after about 30 seconds)
-onboard graphics for retexturing your frame (NOTE: your car is COPY/MOD - we designed this system of onboard modification for your convenience.). To change textures of your frame using your onboard menu, select Options ==> Graphics ==> Paint ==> frame, then scroll through the "Next" and "Previous" buttons.
4 - The car is embedded with high quality original Wingsong animations.
5 - Fiery exhaust shoots out of you the pipes when you move; click on the hot coals at the end of each pipe to toggle the exhaust on and off.
6 - Your car is COPY/MOD, so make all the copies you want and recolor, redecorate, resize, retexture, reDO to make it fit YOUR specs! Note that in your inventory it will appear to be NO MODIFY because of the proprietary scripts but when you REZ it out you'll see that you CAN modify it.
