Sometimes you just like to read as your travel about the grid. I mean, who among us does NOT carry a little reading material with us?

And I don’t know about you but for myself, I like to sit in a nice cozy little spot when I read. With at least a few familiar things. Sort of a home away from home you might say.

Plus there is that all-important ATTENTION GENERATING component – those times when you want to be noticed, stand out from the crowd, be recognized as being BOLD, if not a little, well, odd.

Once again, in the tradition of the slightly twisted folks at the Wingsong Dojo, we have JUST the thing!

Welcome to the Wingsong Reading Room – Outhouse Motif!

You get two versions of this reading room. The REZ version features a working door that opens and shuts when you touch it. The WEAR version attaches by default to your pelvis.

To use the REZ version, attach one of your books (also included) and REZ out the Wingsong Reading Room – Outhouse Motif and the Wingsong Reading Room Door – Outhouse Motif. Select READ from the menu. Do NOT link the door to the outhouse. Line it up to the frame of the door. Click it to open the door, click it to shut the door. Features a couple of very nice sounds to enhance realism.

Right. As if this reading room is remotely realistic!

To use the WEAR version, attach one of your books and WEAR the Wingsong Reading Room – Outhouse Motif WEAR.

Both versions feature, beyond the obvious show stopping AMAZING creativity, a working bald light bulb (touch to toggle on and off). They also have a menu driven book shelf that, when touched, gives you a number of choices of FREE items. I’ve put two starter books on the shelf for you (Dante’s Divine Comedy, and a Winnie the Pooh book).

You can add items of your own to this freebie dispenser by dropping anything you have transfer permmission into the same prim as the two books I’ve included. Plus, these two books are full perm, so you can modify them with your own textures to make your own books. Use the EDIT tool and EDIT LINK to locate the right prim.

Your avatar will read the books, using a very realistic original Wingsong animation.

Your neighbors will be jealous. Seriously.

AND the Wingsong Reading Room – Outhouse Motif is COPY/MOD! Make all the copies you want. Retexture. Resize. Be sure to make a copy of your original reading rooms before you begin playing!
