Simple in design, the Wingsong Roadster Model U is FULL of quality features that will put you in the driver’s seat and on the road to more fun than you can imagine.
Being a wearable ATTACHMENT, it goes everywhere you go. It does not support passengers. For a comparable car that allows you to have passengers, please see our large selection of vehicles in our SL Marketplace - most of our cars that support passengers have the word RIDE in their name.
TO USE: Turn off other AO's. ADD your Wingsong Roadster from your inventory and use the same keystrokes as you normally do for walking, running, flying, turning, etc. When finished, DETACH your car and it parks in a special little garage somewhere on the south end of your inventory.
Here are a few of the excellent features you get with this great car:
1 - Driving around at night? No Problem! Turn on your headlights by touching the space just in front of your headlights; this activates both headlights making a luminous pathway for you.
2 - An old timey car horn honks when you touch the brass horn on the right front fender. You also have a menu of 9 preinstalled vehicular sounds when you touch the license plate.
3 - The engine hums all the time; you can turn this off and on by clicking on the back right fender. You will also hear the engine when you move. Your wheels rotate as you drive on land as well.
4 - The seat is a plush velvet embedded in a solid Brazilian frame. Several of the main body parts are original Wingsong sculpties. The steering wheel is made of some exotic wood that I can neither spell nor pronounce. The whitewall tires are all weather tread and reinforced with three types of steel for long lasting wear; I am confident that you will NEVER have to use the spare that is attached on top of the trunk. The body is reinforced steel plated, the fenders are a high gleam alloy, and the windshield is bullet proof, not that that would make a lot of difference since the vehicle is a convertible. But life is full of paradoxes, no?
5 - A little stream of exhaust emits from your tail pipe. You can turn the exhaust on and off by touch the tail pipe. Not to worry - the fumes are non-toxic and are actually helpful to the environment!
6 - Your Wingsong Roadster Model U is embedded with a solid AO system supporting 3 original Wingsong animations, providing you with a bit of a bounce in your ride - not enough to bruise you, mind you, just enough to let you know you're driving a REAL car! You keep bouncing a little even when you're standing still because, you know, these old cars tend to idle pretty heavy.
8 - You have an automatic BOAT MODE whenever you drive across natural linden water.
And yep, you get ALL sorts of FREE BONUSES with your Wingsong Roadster Model U; these are all wearables; just ADD them from your inventory:

4 - Wingsong Navigation HUD, whose features are too numerous to spell out here. It's a very simple to use HUD. OPEN the navigation box separately and read the enclosed info sheet to take full advantage of the great features. Compatible with virtually all attachments on the grid, your cruise control allows you to travel without having to keep your fingers on the keys, and you can go at whatever speed you want! Also has a speedometer, altimeter, and compass.
Your wheels do not turn when you have your Wingsong Navigation HUD on or when you are in Boat Mode.
Tip: put on all these items and save them as an outfit - works GREAT for saving time!
Everything here is COPY/MOD, so make all the copies you want and recolor, redecorate, resize, retexture, reDO to make it fit YOUR specs! I'm even throwing in a FREE Wingsong Modify Box, a simple, easy to use tutorial for folks with little experience in the EDIT tool.
