They live among us always. Rats. Unscrupulous blind vermin, who have no vision, who are consigned to spending their lives in the darkness. Not because they CANNOT see but because they choose NOT to see.
I made the Wingsong Three Blind Rats in honor of three such rats that I had the opportunity to get to know awhile back. They weren't "bad" folks. They were just self blinded folks who acted more out of ignorance than malice. I felt more sorry for them than angry.
This little Wingsonger rat, though, have grown on me. I've had them scurrying about at the dojo for days. One has taken up quarters down in the mist filled dungeon below the dojo near the coffin. The others have been playfully nibbling on my ankles and one of my goats. I didn't mind myself but the goat became quite aggravated and knocked the stuffings out of one of them.
The Wingsong Roaming Blind Rat is, well, blind. He's got no eyeballs. He cannot see. Which does not prevent him from running about, bumping into things, squeaking, causing people to scream, and even occasionally letting out a maniacal laughter.
Our Wingsong Mad Scientists have had him out for days in various terrains to see how he handles the elements and he's done real well. He's been genetically pre-engineered to have very short ranges of scurriness.
Your Wingsong Roaming Blind Rat makes the occasional squeak, which can be toggled on or off by touching the right ear (not an easy task, I'm just going to tell you up front). You can also manually play 7 fun menu driven sounds by touching the main body of your rat.
OH! And we're throwing in a FREE Wingsong Rat Shoulder Buddy - HE has eyes, and he blinks/winks. Touch his body to make him manually squeak.
So - all in all - just a simple little group of BLIND rats. The Wingsong Roaming Blind Rat helps me remember to have more compassion than vehemence against the garden variety blind rats that look like human avatars that I meet from time to time.

Oh - and when you visit the dojo the next time - step carefully.... I'm serious about their nibbling behavior.
Don't be misled by the low cost of our items - we make great products and sell for low prices to make our doodads available to people on all budgets. We can afford to do this because we create excellent items and provide excellent customer service and support.
