Copy/Move folder SLAV_MAYA_2010 to ..Autodesk\Maya201x\bin\plug-ins\
Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=A7B7A05E-6DE6-4D3A-A423-37BF0912DB84&displaylang=en

Open/Run SLAV.MEL script
or
Load LoadAvatar.mll and write MEL command:
for default mesh just write:
LoadAvatar
or
LoadAvatar "path/filename.XML"

Old viewers v1.23
Menu - Advanced - Character - Character Test - Apperance to XML

New viewers v2.x.x
Menu - Advanced - Enable Develop Menu
Menu - Develop - Avatar - Character Test - Apperance to XML
(for Win7 - SL need to be Run as Admin)

Get from the game SL folder [your path]/SecondLifeViewer2/character/new_archetype.xml
Rename new_archetype.xml to avatar_name.xml
