Swim Ring & Ride Giver
Excellent for common swimming areas to give your visitors a free ride.
A red & White striped swim ring hung on a weathered dock pole.
When clicked you receive 2 Swim Rings in a folder.
The items go directly into the clicker's inventory and one of the rings is worn (added) so there are no issues in no rez areas.
In the folder are 2 animated swim rings: 1 has 5 non-static animations & 1 drives like a vehicle. More about them below
*Instructions:
1. An animated swim ring with 5 non-static animations.
Place the Swim Ring on the water at the height you wish to use it.
Right click and choose "Sit Here" or use the chair icon that shows when the hover over it.
Pick the animations from the blue pop-up.
If you wish, you can place these on the water for folks to use, Just have them use the chair icon when the hover over it.
(Non-Static Animations = they move)
2. An animated Swim ring that drives like a vehicle. Yes, another non-static animation.
In your inventory, right click & choose "Add". Use arrow keys or W-A-S-D to move
Why we say "Add": You may choose "Wear" if you wish but it will probably replace your clothing if you do.
You may have to move 1 click in any direction for the animation to take affect.
These can't be put out in the water they have to be added from your inventory.
If you must adjust the animation make a copy before you adjust anything,

The swim rings are copy only; trust me any modifications would really screw up the scripts.
The swim rings are geared to Linden water. Created water may need different positioning.

Minus one star: there is no built-in way to turn off the float text even though two of the pictures show no hover text.
Minus one star: the drivable float only comes in the red stripes & the rezz-and-sit float only comes in the orange stripes & these details were not listed in the description. (I wouldn't have bought it.) All pics and the description-as-written considered, I thought we had a choice.
Minus one star: the 5-animations orange stripe rezz-and-sit float doesn't seem to know where the float is, or where the water is, & animates my avatar in the sky above the water, AND there are no AVsitter helper sticks or a modifiable AVPos NC to permanently adjust the starter position for these animations…. no, if I wanted to use this I'd have to individually and manually XZY adjust every position, every time I rezz it...
Minus one star: click-and-recieve only works for the owner, all others get nothing and the owner gets a script error “Unable to give inventory list: No items passed filter”
Also: "The swim rings are copy only; trust me any modifications would really screw up the scripts." which is listed in the description, is just not true. Allowing me to change the texture wouldn't upset the scripts unless the scripts dictate the texture (which it is not)…
One star remains because you can drive the drivable float (like a motorboat without the motor or boat) & the animated stationary rezz-float does have 5 moving animations.
If this product is updated to address these issues, I'll happily delete and re-write my review, but for now, it stands to inform other would-be-buyers.
