The Moon [FP]

The Moon Globe is Copy, Modify & Transfer. If you don't need a Full Perm version please check "Related Items" at the bottom of the page.

This is the Full Permissions version of a 3-D globe of the Moon. On touch it launches a menu with Permission choices usable by the owner only, then 4 rotation speed choices (including "Off") & 4 brightness choices (including "Off").
The texture is based on NASA images. It wasn't easy bending this into a "baked" texture but we got it.
The texture includes the dark side (and yes, I hear Pink Floyd in my head when I say that, err write that.).

Menu Choices
- Access Control (Owner Only Usable): Group, Anyone, Owner Only.
- Speeds: Stop, Slow, Medium, Fast
- Bright: Glow Off, Glow 1, Glow 2, Glow 3 (about 0.5 increase)
Note: Glow 3 can be very bright in some circumstances. So use judgment when placing it inside a sky-box, etc.

I used "Glow" instead of light or full bright because that's what the moon does and it's easier to control.

It's usable any place (or is that "anyplace"?), just size it to fit your scenario.
The Globe IS resize-able, but check that the X,Y,Z sizes are all the same so it stays round.
Note: The Moon is actually a Prolate spheroid, but it looks round most of the time.

This version is Full Permission so you can include it in your builds. It does NOT mean you can sell it as is or include it with Full Permissions.
Please be sure the script is no mod and the moon is no transfer if you do include it in your builds.

I tried dozens (32, I think) of times to get a photo in world, but they all stunk. Some of the least sucky ones are included here.
I considered a demo, but it would have been so much work I never tried.
So I settled for posed pictures against backgrounds I controlled.
After all, this Moon is dirt cheap.

and so on...
Earth is coming soon (if I ever get the textures to wrap properly :).
I'm considering Saturn but as the planet rotates and the rings don't it's going to get weird.
Eventually I'd like to get the entire Solar System but these take a long time and don't sell for much.
