Welcome and thank for your interest in our first of the Wolf Ridge Haunted/Abandoned Series!

The Wolf Ridge Asylum...

Closed and abandoned in the late 1970s, former residents have recounted tales of ghastly trials and demented attempts to cure the mentally disturbed. One in particular, a nurse of the facility spoke of barely visible shadows on the walls and translucent figures stalking her during her late night rounds. Surely they were only tricks of the mind, dealing with those who claim to see things beyond the mortal realms. The stress of such labors perhaps? As it is, your friends have dared you to enter, and explore, this asylum. What treasures await you? Is there a sinister presence sleeping deep within? As the age old saying goes... Enjoy your stay...

The Wolf Ridge Asylum was built in 1902 but encountered a remodel around 1958 with the finest of technology available at the time. They sought to run a smaller place to give more focused treatment to those struck by the most destructive of illnesses. Can you unravel the events that brought about its closure? Explore the asylum and find the notes, but do try not to take anything with you... Some of the guests are only too happy to come with you.

It features an open lobby with security* and a reception area to receive guests of the residents. Deeper inside you'll find two consultation rooms to discuss treatment options, an infirmary for treatment of physical illness. Beyond the gates there is the mental ward, with a procedure table and housing for six patients. At the end of the hall you'll find a padded room for those who are a danger to themselves or others. There is a fine kitchen which provided guests with only the most nutritious gruel as well as an office for the doctors to work out of. Basement access is present; however, due to instability of the foundations, access is not recommended and potentially impossible.

Please note that unfortunately, not all urban explorers are here with good intentions and looting has taken place. Despite this, we expect that this building will be fun for the whole family**!

* The lights are a little finicky, if they go out during your exploration or are out when you arrive, you may find the breaker box in the security office. Utilize the power box at your own risk, the energy produced can be utilized by the previous tenants. The lock on it will need to be picked and then you can turn it on once the box is open!
