Historical braided hair style

This hair was made having a variety of historical styles in mind - women braided their hair into 'rings' around their heads for centuries.
While this style - as already mentioned - covers a range of centuries, I am most certain that it's definitely more an 'everyday' style than a 'ball' style (even if Drew Barrymore wore a very similar style in the movie "Ever After" when she went to the ball).
