Wyv's Texture-Fixer version 1.9
by Wyvern Dryke

Ever try to edit something's texture...
...then realize each prim's face had its own settings,
And now SL has messed them ALL up? ARGH!

Never again! Try Wyv's Texture-Fixer.
Link, change its texture, and click.

ALL THE PRIMS now match the Texture-Fixer,
BUT keep their original texture-settings! :D

---------------------------------

WHAT IT DOES:

The Texture-Fixer reads its own texture, then:
1.) Goes through EVERY prim you link it to,
2.) Reads the settings for each prim's individual face
3.) Copies the new texture on it,
4.) And RESTORES each face's settings!

What specifically can be changed? Just the Texture. The script keeps everything else!
Saves hours and HOURS of re-texturing pain. YAY!

And if there's a prim you don't want re-textured, name it "NO" (without the quotes)
before you click the Texture-Fixer Prim.

***
Important: the texture you place on the Texture-Fixer MUST BE FULL PERM.
The object you are trying to change must be MOD.
Also, be aware, there is no "UNDO" for this! You click and it is DONE.
***

---------------------------------

BASIC STATS:

* Prims: 1
* Perms for the prim itself: Mod/Copy/no-trans
* Perms for the script inside it: no-mod/Copy/no-trans
* Lag: minimal. No listeners, linkmessages, or sensors
* Security: responds only to owner, will not operate if unlinked

---------------------------------

HOW TO USE:

1.) Rez the Texture-Fixer Prim and LINK it to your build.

2.) Change the texture of the Texture-Fixer Prim to the texture you want ALL your build to have.
Note: Texture-settings of the Texture-Fixer Prim do not matter, only the texture iteslf;\
The Texture-Fixer script copies each individual prim's 1settings.
Note: If there is a prim you do NOT want to change, make the name of that prim "NO" (without quotes).

3.) Click the Texture-Fixer prim once, to make ALL the prims match its texture.

4.) When finished, unlink and delete the Texture-Fixer Prim.

---------------------------------

FAQ:

Q: How do I "link" the Texture-Fixer Prim to my creation?
A: Select your creation, then the Texture-Fixer Prim. Press Ctrl-L.

Q: Does the Texture-Fixer Prim have to be the root prim, to work?
A: Nope. It can be any link # at all.

Q: Can I rip the script out and put it into my creation?
A: Yes, but keep in mind your creation will then be no-trans.

Q: Do I have to unlink and delete the Texture-Fixer Prim?
A: You should, especially if you want to sell your end product.

Q: I changed the Texture-Fixer Prim's texture, but the rest of the prims don't match it. Why not?
A: Make sure to CLICK the Texture-Fixer Prim when you are done changing its texture. Also, it will only respond to its owner, and will not work if it is unlinked.

Q: Can I get a full perm or copy/trans version of this script?
A: Sorry, no.
