Xeno-Vivarium Planter, Black

The recent seismic event in our area was unexpected, and although it rattled the whole crew it opened the opportunity for new discoveries, as the earthquake collapsed the wall of a nearby hill, unveiling a previously unknown underground ecosystem. Amongst the surprising discoveries a new astounding symbiosis excited even our most inured researcher: A luminescent bio-mineral, shaped like curving stalagmites with symbiotic mushrooms growing throughout. Our nerdy crew quickly nicknamed it Dragon's Teeth. This bacteria formed deposits glow softly which in turn attracts insects that deposit the spores of the mushrooms that grow in them, the mycelia network giving the bacteria an additional organic scaffolding. We took them back and deployed our planter-vivariums in the lab, though the crew insisted on decorating parts of the labs and even the ship with the striking new discovery. Some of the crew took the opportunity to deploy some empty ones around, waiting to be filled with new flora and fungi.... "Every home needs planters" they insisted.

Description and LI.

This set is desinged to work as standard planters. Although enclosed as vivariums, you can very well remove the glass panels, support ribs and top. The light is emitted from the vivarium cover, so you would not be able to light the vivarium through the control panel, but the rest of the features would still work. The control screens each open a customization menu, and they are operable by anyone, to make it fit for role playing. An empty version of the vivarium planter is provided if you want to completely use your own flora/fauna for it.

INSTRUCTIONS:

- The vivariums are interactive and suited for role playing.
- The interactive screen buttons will respond to anyone touching them (not just the owner). When the menu is active, the clicker will get
a pop up menu to select options. While a pop up menu is active the module will not react to any other clicker, till the current user has
closed the menu or the menu goes dormant after 2 minutes without receiving an input.
- You activate the contextual menus by clicking on one of the animated panels.

RIGHTMOST PANEL- Light and Cells Control Panel
You can turn on/off the glow and and animation in the base and detail bands, turn on/off the vivarium light, change the cells color to 5 different options, change the animated band color to 5 different options and change the lighting color to 10 different options.

LEFTMOST PANEL- Twinkles and Glow Control Panel
You can turn on/off the Twinkles effect, turn on/off the mushroom and plants glow effect.
You can also choose the color for the vivarium's twinkles to 10 possible colors.
NOTE: If you remove the fungi or use the empty version the glow option will still affect the soil in the planter, but will not affect any new plants you put in if you use different ones to the default ones.

CLOSE- Will set the panel to sleep. All panels will go automatically dormant after 2 minutes without receiving a command.
