Solid build, low land impact, no issues
I bought this house and I honestly don’t agree with the previous review.
About the physics, the house uses optimized mesh with hidden mesh physics, which is a very common and smart solution in Second Life to keep land impact low while still having proper collision. This is not a flaw, it’s optimization.
Regarding the doors, the doors are normal, realistic size. My avatar passes through easily, and I’m not using a tiny avatar either. I really don’t see an issue here.
All doors do have a configuration menu. You can set access, auto-close, timing, or leave them open. There’s also a notecard included with a video showing exactly how to open and use the door menu, so I’m not sure how that was missed.
On top of that, the house itself is huge. It has plenty of space, 4 bedrooms, and still keeps a very low land impact for its size. That’s actually one of the main reasons I bought it.
For the price, this house is very well made, lightweight, and functional. Definitely not “trash”, it’s a great deal if you understand how mesh houses work in SL.
Not happy with this house
Let me start:
1. The house are a mesh with no physics, it has placed hidden prims all around that is the physics.
2. The doors are too narrow, they can be scaled but as the house structure are mesh that effect scaling doors, or even moving them around.
3. Some doors never open the config menu so cannot set them to open automatic etc, and 3 sec opening time are way too short.
4. It's cheap for a reason, i just found out why. This goes right into the trash. I give 2 stars just because of the vendor pictures
