Details

These Bass earrings are part of the range of Yavanna scripted musical themed Jewellery, all highly detailed, with an advanced system that enables you to customise your earrings to go with any outfit. Bass features metal colour, bling and shininess change.

All Yavanna scripted jewellery can change the colour, bling and shininess of the metal. Those with gemstones (Bass does not) can change the stone type, some can also change the stone size. Studs can change the stud size. There are over 20 metal colours, 12 gemstones, three levels of shininess, 12 bling settings (off, 5 sizes and 6 timings) , for a total of thousands of possible combinations. And it's all controlled by an easy-to-use menu!

Jewellery metal colours include gold (pale, normal, dark, rose gold, white gold), platinum, silver, bronze, as well as less traditional colours such as red, black and magenta.

Earring stones include diamond, fire opal, onyx, sapphire, garnet, emerald and ruby.

Demonstrations of all Yavanna jewellery can be seen at my store in Basilisk: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Basilisk/73/133/53/

Yavanna jewellery instructions
====================
Using Yavanna jewellery is very easy! All commands are driven by menus.

Positioning the jewellery
===============
Firstly, wear the item(s) of jewellery. As with any prim jewellery, it is likely you will have to adjust the position a little. It is highly recommended that you use a posing stand to do this. If you don't have one, you can find them freely available in many places; it would be a very good idea to get one. Once on the stand, for earrings you may need to remove your prim hair to be able to see properly. Then edit them (right-click, select edit), and use the arrows to adjust the position.

Once done, close the edit window.

Using the menus
==========
There are two ways of calling the menu. Firstly, by clicking your piece of jewellery (for earrings, click on either of them; you do not need to click on both), and secondly, by typing "/xx menu" (where xx is the channel number - see below). The very first time you use them, however, you will have to click on them.

35 was chosen for earrings, because the 3 looks like an E (backwards), and the 5 looks like an S (with enough imagination). So, remember 35 for EarringS. If this clashes with anything you already have, you can change it.

Similarly (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leet)
81 for bracelet (8race1et)
21 for ring (21ng)
14 for necklace (neck14ce)
53 for nose (no53)
83 for belly (83lly)

Either way, from the menu, you simply select what you want to do.

Options are:

Metal - allows you to choose between over 20 different metal colours.

Stone - allows you to choose between 12 different stones (not applicable to jewellery without stones).

Stone size - certain jewellery items allow you to change the size of the stone. Selecting this option gives you a menu of sizes.

Shine - set shine to high, medium or low (not applicable to all YavaScript jewellery).

Bling - allows you to switch bling off, set the size of the bling (five sizes), and frequency (from 0.25 seconds to 8 seconds in six steps). If bling is off, selecting one of the size or frequency options will turn it back on again. Bling colour is dependent on the selected metal.

Channel - By making sure that all your YavaScript jewellery is listening on the same channel, you can control all of it with one click! For example, if you have your earrings, your ring and your bracelet all using channel 35, any command you run by clicking on one of them will affect all of them. You could also call up a menu by typing "/35 menu", which would operate on all of them.

You may also wish to change the channel if your jewellery clashes with other scripted objects that you might be wearing, or nearby scripted objects. If you only ever want to call the menu my touching the jewellery, then it's best to select "Touch only".

Sync - synchronise this item of jewellery with other YavaScript jewellery you might be wearing. It will synchronise with the first it finds, so if you have jewellery set to different channels, you may find that you need to repeat this for other items. Part of the power of YavaScript jewellery is that it can all oeprate together, so, if you aare already wearing another piece of YavaScript jewellery, it is recommended that you use this option. One word of caution however: if two different pieces of jewellery you are wearing both contain resizeable stones or studs, and you use the resize feature, it is possible that you will end up with some unnatural sizes for one or the other item. You can recover from this by selecting standalone (see below) and then resizing to an appropriate size.

Reset - to reset to the default (pale gold metal with diamond stone, bling on). After a reset, you will have to touch one of the earrings before you can call the menu from the chat line.

Standalone - use this to guarantee that this
