The Yule log tradition goes back to the vikings. Oaks logs were used, decorated with sprigs of holly and pine. Runes for good luck were often carved on it,and it was lit with a piece of the previous year's Yule Log. Likewise, a piece of the log was always saved to protect the home during the year, and to light the next year's fire.
This beautifully sculpted Yule log comes in three versions: entwined with rich textured dark green pine or holly foliage, or mistletoe boughs. The fire is complete with floating embers, emitting warm light and a crackling fire sound.
Trident has been designing and creating medieval and ancient builds since 2007. The inspiration for our work comes from our passion for medieval reenactment and research of historic houses, ships, furniture and jewelry.
Trident builds are fully supported and continually updated to increase detail and reduce prim count making use of custom sculpts and texturing, and unique scripts and animations.
