=================
by ziomimmo Engineer

This teleporter can locate and teleport to any other Z&D teleporter pad within the same sim. Maximum altitude is 768 meters.

Features:

* Privacy settings - Set access level for your teleporter to control who teleports in and out: Public, Group, or Owner.

* Easy setup - Just drop the teleporter, add a description, and set the access options.

-------------------------
SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
------------------------

1. Place a teleporter in every spot where you want people to arrive/depart. Your Z&D teleporter pads MUST be at least 10 meters apart.

2. Change the pad's Description: right-click the pad, choose Edit. In the General tab, in the Description box, type a descriptive name for this destination. Examples: "Lobby", "3rd floor: dance floor and stage", "Joe's sky home".
Note: Don't put a comma in the description.

3. Set the access levels as described in the next section: set Privacy to control who can arrive at your pad; set User Lock to control who can use your pad.

NOTE: Changes may take up to 90 seconds to update the rest of the teleporter pads in the sim.

PRIVACY AND USER LOCK: CONTROLLING ACCESS TO YOUR PAD
--------------------------------------------------------------------

You can control who can use your pad as well as who can teleport to your pad. Click the *base* of your teleporter (the metal part, not the sparkly part) to open the settings menu:

* Privacy...
The Privacy settings control who can arrive at your pad. There are three options:
- Public - Your pad is a listed destination at all other Mk.V pads in the sim. Anyone can teleport to it.
- Group - Your pad is only listed at other pads of the same group. Only group members can teleport to your pad.
- Owner - Your pad is only listed at other pads owned by you. Only you can teleport to it.

* Lock....
The User Lock setting controls who can use your pad. Unauthorized users and bumped off the pad. Again, three options:
- Public - Anyone can use your pad.
- Group - Only group members can use your pad.
- Owner - Only you can use your pad.

A note about "Group": When a pad is set to "Group", it checks it's own group (in the edit window General tab) against the avatar's active group. These must match for a group member to use a TP pad that is locked to Group. The pad does not need to be deeded to the group (owned by the group) , however.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-----------------------------------

Q. Why does my teleporter beam recharge repeatedly every second or so?
A. Your teleporter is too near another teleporter. They must be at least 10m apart, or they interfere with each other.

Q. Can I use this to teleport to another sim?
A. No. It will only connect with Z&D teleporer pads in the same sim.

Q. Does the teleporter need to be Deeded to a group?
A. No, just "set" to the group. So in the Edit window, under General, the group shown there should be the same as the other teleporters as well as the avatars who will use it. Deeding it works too, but it's just not necessary.

Q. Why do the teleporters show destinations that don't exist?
A. Your teleporter needs to reload. This will happen automatically in 90 seconds or less, but you can force a reload: Click the base and choose Reload.

Q. Why won't it rez the sparkly blue "Teleporter Beam"?
A. The teleporter needs to be in a place that allows "Run Scripts" and "Create Objects".
