So, these cymbals are very realistic when it comes to sound. However, they have only 1 pattern, and the microphone used to pick the sound up must have been really close, as the sharpness of the cymbal is pretty harsh. This causes a major dilemma when you actually try to use them, as they will most likely not only be off beat, but having the wrong sound for the music. This leaves only 1 really harsh sound piercing through the music to your audience, which is the looped baladi pattern. In order to solve this and actually hit the beat and be very effective at finger cymbals, you'd need to be able to control the speed of the sound, as well as the pattern. Controlling the speed is something I haven't seen as a possibility, but controlling the patterns is. If the creator was to add more patterns to these, and they take care that they don't make the recordings too harsh or shrill, I would think these would be great examples of a prop for belly dancing. As it stands though, these aren't actually worth it, as there are other products on the market, that although they don't really have the cymbal sounds, work better overall because they have whole music files put into them, with cymbals and accompanying instruments.
