TIP: Would you like to enhance the quality of the way sculpties look in world? Making this change will enhance the Level of Detail (LOD) to sculpted objects allowing for a better look over a greater distance.
1. Show the "Advanced" menu with Ctrl-Alt-D, or Opt-Ctrl-D on a Mac.
2. From the "Advanced" menu, select "debug settings" near the bottom.
3. In the blank space, copy and paste the word:
RenderVolumeLODFactor
or, use the down arrow and scroll to the term.
4. Set it to a value of 4.00.
5. Close the debug window.
NOTE: Making changes to the Graphics Options (draw distance) in Preferences will set the RenderVolumeLODFactor back to its 1.125 default value.
