[dc] Steampunk Factory Boiler

I don’t know why, but I have a thing for boilers…so after my home style grungy Dripping Boiler I did a more industrial version, a big Steampunk Factory Boiler. It’s a mix of normal prims and sculpted shapes, and I used only one high detailed rusted texture (except for the wood log and the animated water), so you’ll rez it fast.

The smoke, the fire and the flowing water are all particles, so u have to be sure that your viewer’s “Max. Particle Count” isn’t turned off (aka isn’t on 0). But you shouldn’t have problem with that – except if you kicked off particles in Advanced Settings), ‘cus usually u have at least 256, even on low graphic settings.

The chimney pipe isn’t straight and might be too high or too low..depends on ur buildings high..but the boiler is modifiable, so u can change that size to fit your needs. How to do that? Click on the boiler and select to edit, check the “Edit linked parts” and “Stech” options and click on the chimney pipe to resize. You messed it up? No worries, everything is COPYable so you can rez as many u want.

Ok, so what you’ll get?

- [dc] Steampunk Factory Boiler – simple === This is a 14 prim simple construction, and has no smoke particle, and the fire CAN’T be switched on/off from menu. Is all copy and mod, except the script, that’s only copy.

- [dc] Steampunk Factory Boiler – particle control === This is a 15 prim stuff, with fire and smoke particles and if you click on the stove part of the boiler ull get a menu to switch them on/off. Is all copy and mod, except the scripts, those are only copy.

- [dc] Steampunk Factory Boiler – bath === This is a 19 prim full boiler with smoke, fire and water particles. All these particles can be turn off/on from a menu that will pop up if you click on the stove part of the boiler. NOTE: the water has sound effect too. This version is linked together with a dirty bath, with 5 anims (2 bath anims, 3 sitting anims) controlled by the Avsitter script. Is all copy and mod, except the scripts and the animations, those are only copy.
