Mimiko-chan is a gadget inspired by a IRL digital pet-raising game many of us were playing years ago and someone maybe reliving these moments even now.

You wear this adorable little companion and... that's it. It levels up while you are doing your business in Second Life, dance or do shopping.

With Mimiko-chan I wanted to create a relaxing experience of taking care of a digital pet that won't suddenly one day decide that you didn't pay enough attention to it and just traumatize you until the end of time.

It has stats that you have to take care of, naturally, but even if they hit 0%, nothing bad will happen, you will just be receiving less XP and that's pretty much it.

No additional payments, no hidden microtransactions, subscriptions or pricey resources. Just have fun at your own pace.

In addition to free daily bonuses, I added two more mechanics to make life of Mimiko-chan owner easier. One of them is MimiPass: when you meet another Mimiko-chan in the wild, they will exchange MimiPasses that you can then convert into items to feed your pet with.

Another one is Mimi-hime, terminals that you might find in-world that will give you free items once in 12 hours. For now they will be placed at my store and at every event I go to, so please drop by! I'll post about new terminals here and in devFOX group, so you won't miss it.

  • Small digital pet
  • Idle XP-based game at its core
  • Non-intrusive: just wear it and get XP and items
  • MimiPass: interacts with other Mimiko pets automagically
  • No bad endings. Only fun
