What this is -
A guide to help you with the layout of your DFS Farm that helps with efficiently laying out crops, herbs or animals.
Place the pad on the ground (pad is only 1 LI without fencing) -
If you left click the border a texturizer menu comes up letting you change the border and center textures accordingly.
Border options include;
∙ Field Stones
∙ Brick
∙ Transparent
Center options include;
∙ Template (more on this below)
∙ Grass
∙ Straw
∙ Soil
∙ Empty (transparent)
So what does the template do?
The Template is an optimized positioning map for DFS Water, crop and animal placement.
The Grid will accommodate up to 96 tiny plots, about 24 regulars, or 24 trees spaced so you can see the hover text effectively.
In the center is a market for water tower or wind pump (large black dot).
The four smaller black dots indicate where you should place barrels or throughs for animals if you intend to use the plot for livestock.
Additionally the template comes with the ability to rez in a gated fenced area around the plot. Simply left click the center of the plot and select Build. Once everything is positioned to your liking, click DONE to lock it in place. The door script in the gate will go active after 60 seconds. You can add users to the gate, and lock or unlock it.
