I recently got addicted to the dragon cave and have 4 hatchlings, so I made eggs with baby dragons in them for SL. Each egg is a little sculpture of it's own, and to get the dragon, just open the egg, and copy it into your inventory. Each egg also has it's own particle script that can be turned on and off by touch. The dragon itself can either be just a decoration, or can be a shoulder/head,wherever pet.
