Yup they are genuine freebies.
Linda Kellie included a notecard with some of her freebie collections, here is what it says:
I have stopped using my Avatar Ayla Holt to play in SL but I keep getting emails requesting my full perm animations. The actual .bvh files for these can be downloaded at www.lindakellie.com / www.zadaroo.com
These are free, full permissions and no rules. After leaving SL I put the .bvh files up opensource mainly for the OpenSim community but it seems that people in Second Life still want them here too so in order to save people the trouble of downloading them and then having to pay to re-upload them here I am just boxing them up and putting them on the marketplace.
I am not here for support though or to take requests.
