As they are copiable item, you can scatter as many books and magazines as you like.
And as they have mod permission, you may make your original books and magazines, and secret dirty diary also.
Drag your image from Inventory to a page (= specific face of the mesh object). You may need to adjust their scale/offset.
As to books, there is builder's full perm version which includes UVlayout.
