Finally! A quality rigged mesh fèileadh mòr!
I just saw this product moments ago. For the longest time, I had one of the older fèileadh beag variants also from Gocha Merlin. It was my first kilt on Second Life. I still have it, and I loved that one too. However, as an individual who is immensely proud of their Scottish and Irish heritage (I have 25 clans so far researched on my family tree, dating back to 1690), I've always been one for tradition. While, yes, there are arguments of the true origin of the kilt, nevertheless, the "fèileadh mòr", or "Great Kilt" in English, was the first.
This is a brilliant and shining example of an expertly made rigged mesh Great Kilt, which I have been hunting for for a long time. Well done!
My only reason for giving it only a 4-star rating is that it is no-mod. As a point of constructive critique, I would to see this same product as mod/copy/no-transfer, and perhaps have some dev kits available (UV maps, etc), and maybe texture appliers, so that customers could, if they wish, apply their own clan colours if they have them available themselves. I would love to see this product myself presented in the weathered/muted/reproduction shade of the Ferguson of Athol tartan. :) Besides that one and only qualm, this Great Kilt is practically flawless! Thank you, !gO! for giving us the first quality rigged mesh Great Kilt! :)
