Your Elf on the Shelf should include an elf and a rezzable book.

The Elf on the Shelf is a special elf sent from the North Pole to help Santa Claus. When a family adopts an elf and gives it a name the elf receives its Christmas magic and can fly to the North Pole each night to chill with Santa and make sure his adopted family is on Santa's nice list. Each morning the elf returns to his new family and hangs out in a different place to watch the fun. Kids love to wake up and find their elf in a different spot, some elves are more mischievous than others. But be careful! If an elf is touched he could lose his magic and not be able to fly back to Santa. So enjoy your new elf through the Holidays, after Christmas he heads home to prepare for next year's festivities until it's time to come visit again.
