Too much talk, not enough action? The Dominatech iGag Communications Inhibitor may be just what you need! Not just another gag, but a complete communications control system, with built in sound supression field generators and EM interference generators to optionally not only gag but completely silence the wearer, prevent hearing of local conversations, and jam incoming, outgoing, or all IM communications. Also features garbled speech when not completely silenced, a robust access control system, master locking, and a number of built in color schemes, easy recoloring from the menus, and complete customizability with modify permisions.
The iGag attachment can be worn invisibly and continuously for instant-access. Click on the gag to bring up the menu (if inivisible, just click on the wearer's lips). The menu will come up if the gag is in public access mode, you're on the access list, or you're wearing the gag. While not gagged, the following menu items will be available:
== Main Menu (while not gagged) ==
* Gag
This menu item puts the gag on. While the gag is on, the wearer cannot speak normally. The wearer can "speak" on an alternate channel (channel 6 by default), but their gagged speech will be hard to understand, and inaudible beyond 10m (half normal chat range). Turning on the oral sound supressor will disable even this speech (see "Silence" below). If applied by anyone other than the wearer, it cannot be removed by the wearer.
* Access… (This option only appears for the wearer or members of the access list.)
This brings up the access menu, which allows setting the master lock, the access mode, and to add and remove members from the access list. See "Access Menu" below for more info.
* Channel… (This option only appears for the wearer or members of the access list.)
This option allows you to set which channel is used for "speaking" while gagged.
* Color… (This option only appears for the wearer or members of the access list.)
This option allows you to pick a preset color scheme, or recolor the various parts of the gag from the menu. This works even while not gagged, but without the gag on it'll be hard to see what you're doing. I'd recommend using the "Gag" command above first so you can see the changes you're making.
== Main Menu (while gagged) ==
* Delete Key (This option only appears when the wearer applied the gag themselves and still has control.)
Normally the wearer of the gag cannot remove the gag or any restrictions placed upon them unless they applied the gag themselves. If they did apply it themselves, the gag grants them access to remove or control it. Using the "Delete Key" option deletes their access key, revoking this access.
* Remove (Replaced by "<< Denied >>" on the wearer's menu if they don't have an access key.)
This command removes the gag, freeing the wearer from all restrictions. The gag remains attached but turns invisible.
* Timer…
This command allows you to start a timer to automatically remove the gag after the specified time. If you're wearing the gag and don't have access to remove it, it instead simply tells you if the timer is running and how much time is left before release.
* Silence
Normally, the wearer can "speak" garbled text on an alternate channel while gagged. This command activates a sound supression field over the wearer's mouth, preventing any sound at all from escaping, denying even the ability to mumble garbled speech. The field will be visible over their mouth, visual showing that it is active.
* Unsilence (Replaced by "<< Denied >>" on the wearer's menu if they don't have an access key.)
This command turns off the oral sound supression field.
* Deafen
This command activates two sound supression fields, one over each ear of the wearer. While active, the wearer cannot hear what is being said around them. The fields are visible over each ear, visually indicating the sound supressors are active.
* Undeafen (Replaced by "<< Denied >>" on the wearer's menu if they don't have an access key.)
This command turns off the aural sound supression fields.
* Jam IM out
This command activates the EM interference generators and jams outgoing IMs. The lights on the sides and rear of the iGag turn on, indicating the jammers are running.
* Allow IM out (Replaced by "<< Denied >>" on the wearer's menu if they don't have an access key.)
This command turns off jamming of outgoing instant messages.
* Jam IM in
This command activates the EM interference generators and jams incoming IMs. The lights on the sides and rear of the iGag turn on, indicating the jammers are running.
