Welcome to the Beginner's Driving Manual for the D2-Spec vehicles!
Once you get in, the engine starts up and idles. The car starts in NEUTRAL (N) and has a simple gear selection
using PAGEUP/PAGEDOWN or E/C keys. This is how the transmission looks:

Unlike a 'traditional' Second Life vehicle, this car has a Realistic transmission, so putting it in 5th gear is NOT
going to make the car shoot forward at 200MPH. You have to start in 1st gear in order to get the best accelleration
and SHIFT to the Next Gear when you hear the engine rev up - it will eventually stop going any higher and Redline,
preventing you from going any faster than what the gear allows.
To drive in Reverse, you have to Shift Down past Neutral until the indicator shows 'R'.
The UP or W key controls the GAS, and the DOWN or S key controls the BRAKES. (rather than instant-reverse)

To access the SETUP MENU, type /8182setup
From here you can change some of the more important options as well as SAVE the setup changes.
Auto/Manual - You can select from Automatic or Manual transmission types - Auto is recommended for beginners
as the car will shift itself, as long as you put it in 1st gear.
Key/Mouse - For advanced drivers or simulation enthusiasts, these cars come with a Mousesteer option.
This new analog-style steering method can be further adjusted in your Preferences > Input & Camera > Mouse Sensitivity
Press SAVE and Pick Up your car to keep the changes you have made.

I'm a sucker for Rally Cars, so this was a venture due to the cheap price. What I received was less than usable. Save your L, buy something else.
