Inspired by, but not identical to the original Baroque Ballroom sold through Soulstar Creations (which is sculpt and convex hulled prims) this build is 100% mesh. It features some new textures and some changed combos from what was previously released. Because of these differences the older builds will remain for sale.
The French Baroque Ballroom is offered in both a balcony skybox version and a stair entry ground version. These two versions are being sold separately, however, I have left the huds cross compatible, both the single color hud for just the floor and ceiling and the fatpack hud will work with either build. This enables those seeking to save some money to get both fatpacks for the price of one fatpack plus a single color.
These builds and huds are Mod. The scripts and Notecards are not mod, thus the build and huds will appear as no mod in inventory.
The ballroom is one solid object, thus needs no rezzer. This allows me to construct a build with few scripts, to reduce lag on your land. If you don't want to change the textures once the build is placed, you can easily edit and delete the script inside. Same goes with the light script found in the "hidden light lintel" that sits at the opening of the ceiling dome. Combined with the HUD this build only has 3 scripts. Additionally, the weight of the land impact on your sim is a low 34 prims for the skybox and 35 prims for the stair entry version. To keep the prims in this range while providing greater detail, the size of this ballroom is slightly smaller then the original build with a footprint of 43 by 39 meters. This allows it to be placed on a smaller lot if desired. I have tried to optimize land impact and size to preserve the grand scale of the original with the greater detail that mesh provides.
