First of all, let me just say: if you don't have modding experience and you only want to use the top or bottom half, don't buy this; you will be required to unlink the item if you want to get the pieces separated.

This mask is really well made. It looks exactly like it looks in the promo image; high detailed, colored lights, and reflective parts. It's a very nice mask if you're after that sci-fi look.

As far as recoloring goes, the mask is pretty simple: top half has 3 parts you can recolor: the skull plate, the metal piece connecting to the ears and center of the head, and the lights themselves. So if you want glow to the eyes but not to the rest of it, you can absolutely do that. The bottom half of the mask only has two recoloring options: the mesh and the metal. The claws on the face share the recoloring of the center metal piece, so you can't have blue spikes, green metal and blue mesh (for example). The light you see on the spikes in the image is just a reflection from a blue light shining on the avatar; the claws do not have lights on them.

The mask is NOT RIGGED! If you were hoping for something with that quality, look elsewhere. Personally I prefer it so I can move it around as I please, but to each their own. The only REAL problem with this is: the box doesn't include the top and bottom half separately; you MUST do that part yourself. So if you are only after the top half... you will need to re-attach it to your skull and move it around to get it to where you need it to be. Only the bottom half maintains its standard placement.

It's a great product. Again, be wary if you're new and/or don't know anything about modding. Otherwise the process of readjusting and recoloring is a very simple process.
