Stranded Tiles is a unique, two-player, turn-based game of my own creation, which combines strategy and a little luck in its gameplay.
The object of the game is to move around the board, with distance determined by a roll of virtual dice, while removing the opponent's tiles. A player wins by removing enough of the opponent's tiles to prevent them from being able to complete a full movement turn, leaving them "stranded."
Features:
The game is easy to use - you can move your pieces on the board, roll virtual dice, bring up a helpful visual guide, or reset the game, each with a single click. Removing or repairing tiles at appropriate times during gameplay can be done with a double-click. Players can see trails that help visualize where their opponent moved last (particles must be enabled by the viewer for this to function.) The game contains lighting and sound effects, and will look best with Advanced Lighting Model enabled in the viewer (though it will still function and be perfectly playable without.) And there are helpful messages posted to local chat by the game for specific circumstances, like special rolls. The game includes several helpful notecards, and a texture-only version of the visual help display, if rezzing the help display is undesirable due to prim restrictions or space.
**Note: Although the game has some simple aids (such as being coded in a way that prevents the player from accidentally moving diagonally or onto an empty space), it does not fully automate everything. Both players must understand the rules, and keep track of turns, wins and losses.
