Possible uses:
1. It's an effortless way to allow your visitors to join your group
2. Invite visitors to any group, even if it's not the land group
Instructions:
1. Place this script into the object you wish to use as the joiner.
2. Edit the script with:
a. The hovertext you wish to display, if any.
b. The UUID of the open-enrollment group you want your visitors to join.
3. Set the script to "Running".
4. Touch!
Successful use of this script in-world requires you to have (or gain) a little knowledge of basic script editing and object creation.

good script
does what it says...but yet again not what im looking for... i have bought so many scripts now looking for a group inviter that actually sends an invite ...they all just send a link into chat ... this one does the same, i bought it becasue one of the reviews said it sends an IM... but it is still just a message in nearby.

BAM! This is the one! I LOVE IT!
I've been a DJ for years and every group joiner I've purchased, complete units or just scripts, has chatted the link and info in local chat, which I HATE! This one IMs it to the person who clicked on the joiner which is the right way to do it! Local chat only carries 20m so if the guest is 30m away, he doesn't get the information but everyone within 20m does see it! With this script, the guest can be 200 meters away and he gets the information while no one else is bothered by it!
