A set of IALA compliant safe water and cardinal markers.

Built with prim (to avoid sculpt rezzing issues), designed to actually be of use rather than be pretty.

A variety of flashing light patterns can be had by touching the light:-

cardinal markers can be switched between Q and VQ timings, while the safe water markers can be cycled through morse A, isophase, occulting and long flash patterns.

To add just a touch of realism, touching the body will toggle a bobbing motion. This uses the key framed motion, so doesn't have a script thrashing through a tight loop making tiny movements of prims, it should be nice and easy on a sim :)

Low prim, prims are set to convex hull to lower LI. Safe water markers are 4 prims/2LI, cardinal markers are 5 prims/2.5LI (which LL will round up to 3, the rotters).

These are deliberately made from prim, as sculpt buoys take time to rez or may not even rez at all. I wanted my buoys to be seen, with no complications getting in the way of that. They exist to communicate to nearby sailors rather than prettify a plot of land, though I have tried to make them fit the general form of RL buoys. (But I do include a mesh safe water spar that I've been playing with, it's always nice to have the choice! A bigger set of mesh buoys is also now available, lovingly crafted to be low impact)

They're also phantom, because I don't like bouncing off buoys that I haven't seen XD

They'll sit themselves properly if rezzed on water, no need to adjust them so that they float properly.

They're also mod/copy (though scripts are copy only), so you can make them as large or as small as you need. Out of the box there's about 3.5 meters sticking above the water.

NB. Nothing else you might see in the pictures is included, this is just a set of navigational buoys.
