[offM] Shabby Chic Writer's Desk - Ocean Teal

Some shabby chic, some more traditional, these desks will look great in your home, office, or writer's nook. Each one comes with a laptop that will change colors and screen views - the screen shots are from a wonderful writer's tool called Scrivener. And for you more old-fashioned types, there is an open notebook that gives a fountain pen and notecards: Writer's Quotes (for inspiration), Writing Prompts (30 of them to help nudge your muse), and a Journal Pages notecard (into which you can drop your own writings and bemusements). Don't worry about inkstains on the desktop, either, as you'll have a nice desk blotter to catch any drips. Now, if you prefer to work as a team with someone, or just find procrastination all that much easier with a buddy at your side, you will find the plethora of sits in the desk and chair useful.

Within the chair is four different sits:
Plotbunnies - Thinking about your story, looking off into space and leaning back
Mad Skribbling - Writing in the book with the fountain pen
Typing - working away on the laptop
On The Desk - sitting on the edge of the desk, next to another person with a laptop if you like

Within the desk are four more sits:
Indian Style - cross legged on the desk, talking to the person in the chair
Window Watching - dangling legs off the front of the desk, perfect for talking to others in the room, or looking out a window if the desk faces one. (Mine does!)
Talking - on the other side of the desk, facing the person in the chair, dangling your legs and chatting
Laptop Writing - cross legged and working on a laptop. This can be used while another person sits next to you or in the chair.

PLEASE NOTE! While most of the items I create are transfer only, the journal in this set is mod/copy. The permissions need to be set this way so the notecard system will work properly.

All of the furniture pieces have the added realism of shadow, and I have used only the top of the line textures for aesthetic pleasure. Please refer to the photos at the bottom of this notecard for poses and such.
