Based on traditional hair/hat styling in China called Qitou hair. Originally the "hat" was a form with hair wrapped over it and decorating. Eventually, they made hats mimicking the hairstyles (as that was a lot of pull on the scalp!)
The slippers are for SLink flat feet. 5 silk and 3 cloth in traditional Chinese patterns. They aren't rigged so they are adjustable!
The 8 paper parasols come equipped with a script to hold up while attached. The designs are as well traditional and historical Chinese patterns.
